  • Do we need a visa to enter Nepal?

    Nepal only requires a visa on-arrival. You will not need to get one in advance. See details here.

    However, if you are planning on visiting other countries please check visa requirements.

  • Does Nepal have any COVID vaccine requirements on-arrival?

    Nepal requires a photo of your vaccination card or QR code.

  • Do I need to find a place to stay?

    Accommodation will be provided at the resort. Check-in will be on Saturday August 19th and check-out will be on Tuesday August 22nd. See the Accommodation page for more details.

  • Will transportation be provided to the resort?

    Yes, there will be shuttle busses waiting for you at the Kathmandu airport. Shuttle will depart at 10AM and 1PM on Saturday August 19th. The shuttle will arrive 1 hour prior to departure timings.

  • Will transportation be provided back to the airport after the wedding?

    Shuttle busses will be provided from the resort back to the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International airport. Busses will depart at 9AM and 12PM upon check-out on Tuesday August 22nd.

  • How far is the resort from the airport?

    The resort is about a 1-1.5 hour drive from Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.

  • Where will the ceremonies be taking place?

    The ceremonies will take place at the resort with a combination of indoor and outdoor events.

  • What should I wear, is there a dress code?

    We have added suggested dress codes for the different ceremonies and events which can be seen on the Events page.

  • What will the weather be like in Nepal?

    August is towards the end of monsoon season in Nepal which consists of intermittent rainfall and temperatures reaching high-20 degrees celsius. Please pack some rain-friendly clothes in addition to your wedding attire.

  • Can I bring a boxed gift?

    We value your presence and blessings at our wedding! We kindly request that you bring no boxed gifts due to space and travel restrictions.

  • What are the accepted currencies in Nepal?

    The fiat currency of Nepal is the Nepalese Rupee (NPR). You can bring cash and/or a bank card with you and exchange or withdraw US dollars or Nepalese rupees from ATM machines in Nepal. See more details here.
