Sunday, August 20

Haldi

11 AM

Join us for an afternoon filled with painting the town yellow. The haldi ceremony will consist of family and friends putting haldi (turmeric) on the bride and groom in order to bless the couple.

Yellow-coloured traditional clothing

Mehendi

3 PM

Right before the big day, the bride along with the women in the family can apply mehendi (henna) to their hands. Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon with music and games.

Monday, August 21

Wedding

Time for the big day! There will be two wedding ceremonies starting with the morning Tamil ceremony followed by the Indian ceremony in the afternoon. You’ll get to witness a blend of rituals from both cultures, enjoy a wide variety of food, and celebrate the beginning of our new journey.

Tamil Ceremony

Indian Ceremony

4 PM

Traditional clothing or suit (gentlemen)

Gala Reception

We will be concluding the wedding festivities with the Gala Reception dinner. Feel free to dance the night away to celebrate the newly-wed couple!
